mid. I feel most everything here Wicker Man did better to compare 70’s English horror. Also the sex scene was so overdone, after like 5 headachey cuts I started fast forwarding and it took a good while to still get past it. Enjoyed Sutherland though

Bringing Out the Dead 1999
Hella good, surprisingly funny. Sounds odd given Nick Cage but by far one of his most serious roles and he plays it excellently. Never expected the Cage Scorsese synergy to be so strong alongside his 3 emt partners, John Goodman, Ving Rhames, Tom Sizemore. Halfway through I went oh my god it’s taxi driver part 2 emt boogaloo but Cage is a much more sympathetic and admirable loopy protagonist
