A beautiful looking movie with a lot to like. Great acting across the board, fantastic chemistry between Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, fun action sequences and a nice way to ground the origin story. I just wish the film had more heart and I wish it had more to say. I wish it took its time with the characters. I wish it didn't blow past what makes Spider-Man tick. I wish it wasn't embarrassed to be about a guy dressed up as a spider.

Oppenheimer is Christopher Nolan at his most profound, refined and articulate. It's hardly straightforward and wholly original yet its Christopher Nolan's simplest film to date. A film with great character drama and wonderful political intrigue intertwined with a character study that makes you question your own morality. Masterfully made.
