Gattaca 1997
This film, the colors…wow. Green, blues, yellow, very cool. My peepers was liking the art part of it all. Felt very art-deco meets the 90s version of the future and I’m here for it.
For the plot portion: Again, so far, all of Ethan Hawke’s films do not pass the Bechdler test. This one goes a step farther and has Uma Thurman in it as the love interest, but you don’t really understand why she is even there. Most likely…Translated from by

Training Day 2001
Denzel Washington is electric af in this, he deserves all the awards. Ethan Hawke’s acting as a eager newbie that has somewhat of a moral compass is very believable. This pair should be on screen more often, they did a wonderful job of slowly unraveling the plot and their characters value system.

Dad 1989
Ethan Hawke shows up half way through. Not nearly enough of the Hawke.
He got a dangle earring and did a montage that was hard to watch, but it was an 80s film.
I think it was required law to have a montage back then.
Also found out from the other reviews that there is a YouTube video of the dead poets society boys going to New York to audition for this. I watched it, real cute. But honestly hated this movie. lil Ethan couldn’t save it.
Though I’ll still give him a 4/5 Hawke wings for his effort.
