  I hadn’t realised how graphic this film was gonna be and it had kinda put me off, but you can’t go wrong with a film set in 70s/80s LA. I had most enjoyed Don Cheadle’s character and his story (as I do in most of the films he’s in). I didn’t really care for Mark Wahlberg but the last 40 minutes of the film was excruciating and I understand why it has the rating it does from that scene alone, I was at the edge of my seat, thinking that they would just die in the hands of a rich coke head.

  Childhood favourite, all I can get from this is that a wave of happy nostalgia and memorable lines and visuals. This is an adult favourite too
