Great British horror thriller. The few short shots of the monster don't hold up as well today, but that is easily overlooked. Suspenseful story, great atmosphere. Saw this a few times growing up in the early '60s and it stayed with me all these years. The scene with the invisible monster making footprints is iconic.

tick, tick... BOOM! 2021
Outstanding performances of some terrific numbers. Every song is beautiful and moving, Larson was a genius.

The Long Ships 1964
Not your typical viking adventure movie, which is why it stands out. Richard Widmark as the viking, Sidney Poitier as the Moor king - are you kidding me? Russ Tamblyn (no dancing though). Edward Judd and Lionel Jeffries did First Men in the Moon the same year. Very quirky. Some funny moments and lines ("that was the 'quick' way of getting it down"), some creative ideas (watch for the Mare of Steel). Oscar Homolka is hilarious, as always.

Damn Yankees 1967
A version of the show done for network TV. These usually don't work very well, and this is no exception because of typical budgetary and time limits, I'm sure. The cast is good, Lee Remick is sizzling. Still love the show, in any form.
