The Skeleton Key 2005
One of the worst movies i’ve ever watched literally. I can go into so much detail about it, but the main takeaway is the demonization of hoodoo and voodoo. Hoodoo isn’t practiced by white people, and at that can’t be because it is a sacred African American practice which came to be during slavery. If they wanted to make it i guess realistic, they should’ve used voodoo as it is specific to West Africans and Haitians, it is a Haitian…

Sam levinson gives me nepotism baby vibes cuz this was just… what was this shit for the most part, SLAY EM HIGH KILLA sends so bad at least the aesthetics work. I get the message and all, but its just so not that great in the sense that its somewhat poorly written if anything mostly poorly directed as so many parts had such avoidable mistakes, but the girls did their part for the acting so idc.
