The atmosphere is great and I got to say the practical makeup during this time period for all the monsters has been really impressive!   This movie fucks. Similarly to Presence the initial marketing made the impression to me that this was going to be a horror film. In some ways it is, but really it’s a comedy thriller. The difference is, it’s really really good! It’s both very funny but also provides some good thrilling sequences with a surprisingly high kill count by the end. But I guess that’s what you should expect coming from the Director of Barbarian. Excellent start to the year, this’ll easily make my top 10 of 2025

  This might be one of the best movies to have come out within the last decade. I haven’t seen many movies be this creative, while simultaneously being so off the wall silly yet earnest and emotionally vulnerable. This might make my list of top 10 movies I’ve ever seen
