Paterson is a perfect character. Through the eyes of Paterson, we see the beauty and artistry in everything.
A conversation on a bus between two people suddenly becomes much more than whatever emotions they're feeling, as could be retrieved by analyzing tone, body language, etc. Once you hear Paterson's first poem, preceded by his seemingly unspecial inspection of a matchbox, you can understand his perspective and begin viewing the surrounding setting in a similar way. The Raid 2011
Probably the best action film I've seen. I can't begin to believe how hard they worked on choreographing this whole thing. By the time I realized the final fight scene was about to begin I couldn't have been more hyped.
Aside from the action, it still has some really good direction, I saw Apostle before this and though it's an odd jump to make from an Indonesian action film I think both of those movies display Gareth Evan's unique fascination and perspective on violence and gore.Translated from by
