One of those films I seem to like more than everyone else, mostly because I know nothing about the Illiad and can excuse massive inaccuracies because I love epics.
And man it’s epic, epic in every sense of the word. The large scale battles, the grand score over everything, wide sweeping shots, the clash of swords and spears, talk of gods and men and war. All of that epicness and on top of that, it’s the only film I’ve seen where Sean Bean lives.
