Not a bad movie. I liked the cinematography, but the "major twist" was pretty predictable, and I felt like there were certain scenes that were too long/drawn out for no reason. Like certain scenes didn't need to be as long as they were.

This is an M. Night Shyamalan film so I don't know why I got my hopes up thinking this might be a good movie. The premise was there. It was interesting, it had so much potential, and while the first half of the movie had quite a few flaws, it wasn't terrible. Then hits the second half. Like honestly for a hot second M. Watched this movie for the second time over the summer with my sister. And while re-watching it, I was reminded of how much I really like it. I like the setting, the story, and I love the fight choreography. It's a fun, entertaining little movie.
I'm happy that it sounds like they might do a second movie.
