  for such a large-scale, awe-inspiring central idea and adventure, it really felt underwhelming and relatively low risk/low reward. from someone that wrote and directed Parasite, Okja and Snowpiercer, it’s a very kindergarten level of satire and analysis (probably on purpose, but purpose doesn’t make something good).

  Robert Pattinson in arguably one of his most fun and intriguing roles, absolutely crushes. Mark Ruffalo doesn’t fall behind even with the obvious lack of depth in his character. fun movie.

  man i really wanted to like this; i got chills in many of the cathartic moments the characters face, and while the metaphor and symbolism is definitely heavy handed i enjoyed the execution.

  everything is green screen: the movie

  like yeah the race sequences are insane and visually explosive but did they have to cgi the whole fucking town? c’mon bro. kind of makes me pissy that so many people love this movie, to the point that most popular reviews by a mile range from 4-5 stars.
