god, i can tell this movie fucked me up because straight after i looked at kim kardashian's instagram after this to see if i could find the post about her watching this, and i was grossed out by her. the quest to just look 21 years old all the time, no matter what, is a deeply psychotic aspect of our culture and is driving us insane. they don't make it subtle but elizabeth and sue hating the other part of…

on one hand the plot is kinda one dimensional, but there are so many good moments with Ford and some of the other cast that make it so good. also i did rent this out from the dvd store a lot between the ages 11-14 so i can't objectively evaluate this at all. ford's outfit when the cia guys come to his house for the first time is an all-timer, i will be spending $200+ on etsy on a jacket like that unfortunately

I feel like this became a different movie in the second half and i was a little disappointed that they didn't explore the premise a bit more but that might just be because i am a severance/substance cultist by this point

Seriously just dripping in like nightmare-ish atmosphere. There's so many incredible details that add to how creepy and inhuman the terminator feels. I saw this first when I was maybe 9 or 10 and it was my first introduction to time travel in cinema - the whole attacking someone in the past to change the future thing blew my mind but at the same time made me so scared. This movie feels like nothing else and really holds a special place for me in cinema.

Very nice. Wow Scarlett is fricken magnetic in this, while she’s great in the blockbusters I love her so much more in these dramas. Makes me very excited for Marriage Story.

I loved how the romantic storyline is actually like real life. There’s no grand declaration and it’s much more passive and unspoken. I’m struggling to think of another movie that portrays it in quite the same way. Although, I don’t watch a large amount of romantic drama type movies.
