  Over time I’ve come to realize that I think about this film more often than I think about any other – peeling a potato? Cremaster 5. seeing the Chrysler building catch the gleam of the sun? Cremaster 5. vaseline? oh god. it just goes on!

  second worst movie ever

  It’s still a little hard to believe, but, they really did make a movie fully engineered to try and get you to cheer for a drone strike

  Oh wow. I’m digging in a little and this is actually a sequel! to a movie by Antoine Fuqua, unsurprisingly (to me) the director of the first worst movie ever (Training Day, and presumably all his other movies too)

  A film but also a puzzle, also a poem, sometimes hard to watch, always beautiful to watch.

  New restoration @ Film Forum, was gorgeous and the theater was so silent, nearly MoMA level hush, almost regretted my popcorn (almost).
