One of the more poignant head nods your likely to see.
Such a wonderful coming-of-age film. Nearly as lovely as "A Walk to Remember"
I hate to admit it, but this has fallen in my estimation upon rewatch. The flaws I found the first time around seem bigger on a second watch. It looks awesome, the performances are fine, but I just never feel invested to the degree I’d hoped for.
This shows another side of Aaron Rodgers. A whole other side of Aaron Rodgers to hate.
Just imagine spending three hours watching Zoolander idiotically looking into a puddle and asking “Who am I?”
This is the best use of the Hugh Grant persona since his heyday in romantic comedies of the 90’s and 00’s. He was excellent. Many seem to have been annoyed by the religion 101 discourse, but I found it interesting and done with an intelligence and respect for the audience. It fit nicely into what the film set out to accomplish. I didn’t feel lectured on atheism any more than I was lectured on Monotheism. Another great one from A24.
