  This is one of the best film experiences I have ever had. It’s not just a film. It’s an experience. I felt it in my soul and my flesh and my tear ducts. I can barely articulate my feelings.

  I will never get bored of this film. It’s brimming with death, decay and eroticism set in the right time, place and atmosphere. I wanted to distract myself from life today so I rewatched this to enjoy beauty.

  Second movie (and first one off my personal watchlist) of 2024. I am so glad to have finally watched this. This is one of the films that is pure sensation; it’s visuals are so powerful and well-constructed that the director's ideas are simultaneously clear enough to be felt viscerally and firsthand, and ambiguous enough to raise doubts. I love how it tows that line. It has that tactility and immediacy to it.
