I love all types of films, but you'll never see me review a romcom. Also, the end of evangelion is nearly perfect.

The Conjuring 2013
James Wan knows how to make a horror film. The film may be fairly cliched I. The story department, but it is effective in it's scares and in the portrayal of it's characters.

Shin Godzilla 2016
This is my second favorite Godzilla movie. Hideaki Anno is a master behind the camera, the film is shot very well. The film is full of beautiful shots(the highlight of course beging the scene in Tokyo). The films visual effects are great, though at times it can look pretty bad. The actors do a great job with the material that is provided, but the characters are all lacking characterization. The film is a great criticism of the Japanese government's lack of action during the Fukushima disaster.

A fantastic movie that aims to modernize the story of superman. The film is full of great action and acting. The writing is solid(for the most part), and the music is phenomenal. It is still to this day the only film that I have seen in Imax, and it is an experience I will never forget.
