  That was exceedingly enjoyable- the triple twist that you ‘kiiiind of foresaw’ was still shocking but potentially overdone with unnecessary imagery that undermined the themes at times. Despite this- I had so much fun watching Saltburn and consequently annoyed the shit out of the mates I watched it with as I drooled over how refreshing it was to watch.

  It consistently gets the job done and cements itself in my "comfort film hall of fame"

  Captivating animation, likeable characters, consistent dialogue, pop culture references and lighthearted comedy will mean I rewatch this pretty soon when im sick or want to watch a 'tRoUbLed stOnEr live for the moment' story...
  Character progression/development isn't groundbreaking, the soundtrack needed to take more of a backseat and sadly we are introduced to Jabari's stoner 'psychedelic surrealist' experience but for some reason can't fully commit beyond predictable 'lonely stoner' tropes.

Following
