  When I was a little girl I remember there was an “Indian” Barbie that came with beautiful blue eyes (if that isn’t Indian then what is?) and looked like the actress Shweta Tiwari (because all Indian women do?). I’ve deducted all 4.5 stars because of that and because ✨this piece of highly political and not at all pompous self-adulation of a celluloid (not cellulite 🙄) doesn’t cast an Indian.✨

  The half star is for America Ferrera’s monologue. Love me a good fem rage driven monologue.
