    Second time watching this.,

Woody Allen meets a Jude Appatow movie

I love the adult version of a Eurotrip, the tour guide and the other people in the tour adds an edge.

I love the complicity and complexity of the relationship between the two cousins.

At times, it feels the two cousins are just the two sides of a coin: a too complex real person you need to split in two characters to make it into a mainstream movie. Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin were perfect.

The circular narrative and the ending.

Very impressive film with a lot of ideas around family, money, migration, racism, religion, architecture, loss, pain, patronage...

The first scene is incredible: the atmosphere he builds by closing the shot to build a series of dutch shots and close-ups to end up with the Statue of the liberty

The images of the film create a brutalist feeling: the ideas are huge but simple, massive and oppressive, dark and block-driven.

I feel Brady Corbet has watched a lot of films by Paul Thomas Anderson, especially in the second half.

Guy Pearce in this film... something else.

In Spanish, I would call The Brutalist, La Megalopolis bien
