Lonely, without status, and with no perspective of a better life, Travis is angry at the world. He is unable to fit in, he does not follow society's social norms, and he is rejected by the world around him. He is sad and lost, but these eventually turn into anger.

An empty shell, bearing no meaning, art, or joy. Worst movie I have seen in my life. Besides the headline topic of transgressive behaviour, there is little of interest to catch your attention. The atmosphere in the movie is very sterile, cold, and lifeless throughout. And while that may be a conscious choice, the movie utterly failed to move me in any way. Would not recommend at all.

Nope, not for me. Maybe this is what defined the horror-genre, if you can call it that in the first place, but it just was not my cup of tea. The film contained no real substance, the story was not at all able to move or excite me - or maybe it did excite me somewhat, but without additional meaning.
