For a movie about food we don't see many appetising dishes. The performances are great however.
A delicate balance between anger and warmth. Ebla Mari as Yara gave a more powerful performance than Dave Turner as TJ. A much more complex and mature film than the trailer shows

Deeply horrifying depiction of racism and the fetishisation of black bodies. I particularly liked the way in which his girlfriend acts to make him minimise his own feelings and worries.
