Experiencing this short series without knowing anything about the story and its characters was a ride full of mystery, sadness and anger.
The show has this dark mist around its characters that makes you wonder if they're really hiding something or if they're just empty shells trying to gain attention from the people around them. The thing is, most of the dark things are in plain sight, and the things hidden will eventually come to light...

Loneliness might be one of the most terrifying feelings we can ever feel. It can appear in different forms: sometimes when the expectations we lay over other people hurt more than expected.and when we are too caught up inside our heads, surrounded by fears that might not even exist at all. In response, we try to cover that fear of loneliness with prestige, success in our careers, returning to old habits and people we left behind, but running away doesn't fix it. Loneliness scares us all but it also teaches us a lesson about human kind and the important need to be understood by others.

I first watched this movie in may, 2016. I didn't really dislike it, but I didn't love it either. I guess I didn't really understand the meaning behind all the movie and all the things the characters go through.
Now, I can say that I've been a Tom and a Summer. I have felt what both characthers felt and you can really connect with both situations.
