  This type of the beautiful anti-materialistic Japanese life of a humble, hardworking Japanese man-who of course happens to appreciate classical rock music and film photography theme, which is fetishized by the orientalist west, is getting way too cringe, and of course, the stupid foreigner doesn’t know how to use the “advanced Japanese” toilet and has to be shown how. These European directors are really stuck in their times.
