To REALLY encapsulate the theme of this movie, Misa walks into the bombed house of a most likely still-inside-but-very-dead-and-radiated family somewhere in the rubble, enters the kitchen area and enters some weird middling state of Female Euphoria at being In The Kitchen and sets up a weird fucked up dinner setup for Hikaru to "come home" to as an apocalyptic wasteland stares at them from the broken window as their chosen ambiance. But like. The song at the end where Minmay sings her heart out and kills all the aliens was pretty cool.
80s sexism is something else. Good music though!
