An absolutely incredible viewing experience. Phenomenal performance by both Tatum and “Lulu”. Had me walking out of the theater in tears. Truly unique in its narrative and how it mirrors the existentialism of a grieving dog to a scarred soldier. A stunning performance and screenplay from Tom Hanks. His ease into a WWII destroyer captain reminded me of his glorious days of Captain Miller in Saving Private Ryan.
