I LOVE THIS MOVIE. One of the great sci-fi films of the 21st century, had so many stars here before they reached their peak - Michelle Yeoh, Cillian Murphy, Chris Evans, Benedict Wong - all giving their all. I especially adore Cliff Curtis and Hiroyuki Sanada’s performances here.

The musical elements were the best part honestly, I get what Todd Phillips was going for (he might as well have been slapping us in the face telling us what this was about) but the execution was not good.
Why would Arthur, the man who did what he did in the first movie, BECAUSE he was beaten down by the people around him, be broken by the events of THIS movie? If anything it should have had the opposite effect.…

Definition of style over substance coupled with a shitty reveal, the first half is pretty good but unfortunately leads to nothing special.
Lost track of the amount of clichés I was desperately wanting something halfway original to happen, performances all round were good and the direction matched them. The script needed to be reworked all together.
