    This has to be one of the worst Best Picture nominees I’ve ever seen. There is no way this thing deserves 13 nominations. Even the critics didn’t like it. Usually with a Best Picture nominee you’ll see the occasional 10 or perfect square. This was far from it. Sure it might deserve some nominations but 13 which is 1 shy of tying for the record is just so wrong. The only thing good about this movie was Zoe Saldaña. She was great.

    Absolutely loved this movie. The cinematography was incredible. The way Bill Skarsgård looked as Count Orlok was truly something to see. This movie is right up my alley.  A dark vampire gothic tale. I remember seeing the original one (1922) several years ago. Loved that movie and loved this one. This might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I would suggest it. Especially of you’re a Robert Eggers fan like I am. I feel like he hasn’t missed yet.…
