Anora 2024
would have turned this off in 10 mins if it wasn’t for the oscar win. but it got better towards the end. i admit the acting was so so good and i love a baddie, complex, female lead. plot/humor just wasn’t a rewatch, cinematic shots were careful and calculated, but not anything unique. my expections were just high for the hype. i’m still bitter wicked didn’t win but the oscar’s weren’t gonna take a musical seriously
