  watched bc karina longworth said it had some of the most beautiful shots she’d ever seen and damn if she wasn’t right!! 

  it’s simply dumb to be mad at the adaptation not being “faithful” in the way that would mean in the contemporary sense. no one involved in this production was interested in doing that so why act like they were?
