A satire that doesn’t desire to punish the beautifully broken people involved. A comedy that is laughing along with the characters even as terrible things are happening to them. A comedy with enough depth to consider the wounds it has inflicting on it’s characters.
Jeffery Wright, Sterling K.Brown, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross, Adam Brody, Erika Alexander, the unbelievably undervalued John Ortiz; (the whole cast is great lol) all provided terrific work
I truly enjoyed spending time with these people as lived in as flawed as they were. Getting angry with them, being sad with them, and most importantly laughing and loving them
