Incredibly disturbing film, it portrayed child sexual abuse well and has fenomenal performances from all actors . You don’t forget it after you’ve watched it.

Has the manic pixie dream girl trope, penny lane brings everything, people try to understand her and fail. But showcases innocent, naive love really perfectly it convinces you to ignore the red flags too. This movie definitely holds a place in my heart I’ll rewatch it a million times.

For an early 2000s movie the cgi wasn’t terrible and the plot made sense, you kind you add up the ending after you see it. They portrayed his insanity pretty well too, the viewer doesn’t really feel like they’re in on the crazy you’re just watching it. Overall pretty good movie but some scenes were questionable like when the teacher asks the girl to sit next to the cutest boy, they couldn’t have added a scene where they organically meet? They kind of chose the lazy route with that one. But still a nice watch
