Despite its length I actually really enjoyed the court-room stuff. I was completely invested throughout the whole film. I wish they didn’t introduce so many characters that served almost the exact same purpose. Thomas Shelby was pretty good in the movie too

The film is seemingly bursting at the seams with ideas, yet as a whole it’s nothing but shallow. It comes across as the insane scrawlings of an old man rather than the profound commentary on “past, present and future” that it’s desperately trying to be. Was the smudge on the screen an intentional choice 🤔
