watched the first half of this drunk and could not get past how he didn’t look like a freshman and the 2012 of it all despite it being set in the 90s and then i finished it several days later and the end hit me like a truck. i think i would have liked it more if this were not the case. i read this when i was 12 and i see now that it went right over my head
