Super Mario Bros. is for kids. Adults will find easter eggs and funny moments scattered throughout, but you will inevitably find most of the dialogue and story to be cringy and poorly put together. But as I said, this movie is for kids and overall, I think it does a good job of catering to that nostalgic feeling that a lot of us were looking for.
