Iconic horror, super gross in parts, an absolute classic! The practical effects are brilliant, way better than any of the wanky CGI that we're now stuck with in 99% of horror movies.

The Descent 2005
I saw this in the cinema and screamed so loudly at the monster reveal jump scare scene that I pretty much made the entire audience jump too. They were not pleased haha. It's a great movie about a group of women who are exploring an unexplored cave which contains horrible mutant things. Great ending too.

Promising Young Woman 2020
This one hits hard, but it's a must see. Named after the headlines in America which saw rapist Brock Turner called a 'promising young man' and only get 6 months in jail for his crime, this movie is a stressful but brilliant vigilante style story. Very worth a watch, Carey Mulligan is fantastic!
