23 year old ditzy airhead who lives for art in all its forms.
Please watch Perfect Blue.
Hadn't seen this in a while--it really is enjoyable to remember the emotions I felt when first watching it, but those are just memories. It's only able to engender fractions of those emotions now, with one exception. Steve and Peggy's dance at the end will always make me cry without fail. I'm a romantic like that.
I, like most people, had questionable taste in art as a child. That said, this has been my favorite film for about 12 years now. I go back to it every year and each viewing just makes me love it more and more, so hey, maybe my taste as a 10 year old wasn't so bad after all.
If you struggle with body dysmorphia and want to have an absolutely awful time, this film is the one for you.
