  This movie brought to mind all the stories my parents have told me about when they were young. Made me wish we knew more about Sophie and her dad's lives outside of the vacation. The memory that Sophie is revisiting is fractured and faded, though it takes on new meaning as she reflects upon it years later through a different lens. I think we can all relate to growing older and realizing that parents are just regular people with flaws…

  Lock an artist in a multimillion dollar apartment for a few months and things can get pretty weird. Great concept that doubles as an excuse to show off a beautifully designed home with some interesting art pieces. Our main guy adds his own installations to the gallery that his prison has become, and the line separating the pieces born to serve a purpose and those that defy explanation gets more blurry as homeboy spirals. Willem is always fun to watch, and he goes IN on this character.
