Ever noticed the time when you see a random kid playing with her dad and catching yourself smiling at them? Or the time when you'd go to your childhood favorite restaurant and the waiter remembers and brings you your favorite dish? It is that particular feeling which drives this entire movie. I don't really know how I'm feeling after the movie ended. I'm kinda terrified when thinking of what must've Dean felt like when he could see Cindy falling out of love with him.
The jumping screenplay worked amazingly for this story. Taking their vows and then them drifting apart the next scene.
Performances were phenomenal, beautiful cinematography and dialogues. One very beautiful slow paced non linear Rom com.
I knew this movie wasn't just an other film after this scene where Dean throws off his ring and then they both try to find it desperately. That made me cry and left me absolutely shattered.
I vaguely remember watching this movie earlier. So, I decided to revisit it with a friend. To begin with, the cinematography was so raw and felt like "Wait, that looks like I could've shot it myself yet why is it lookin' like a painting tho". All the track shots with those hand shake effects only added more tension to the scenes.
