okay i went in expecting not to like it, but it was good??? i’m not understanding the hate on the movie itself? i think the message was there and i think it was very tasteful how they depicted DV and why women stay.
HOWEVER, it makes the press around the movie all the more problematic bc why are we marketing it as a romcom???? “grab your florals and get to the theaters” ?????…
