thank you david ❤️🩹
genuinely one of the greatest films i've seen so far.
i've watched takashi miike's "remake" of this film a few years back but i had no idea how incredible the original was & decided to give it a try. gonna be honest & say, that the visual style, storytelling & acting in this film is so incredible that it's almost impossible to believe it's age.
there's only a handful of films that you NEED to see at least once in your lifetime and i personally would rank this one amongst (😎👍) them.

me when a very attractive woman gives me a single kiss: *starts bending the fabric of reality to my own will*
such a fun movie to watch anytime. includes an extremely distinctive visual style, insanely fun action scenes & somewhat deeper themes throughout (even if some of them ring out a bit corny, but still somehow relevant even today???). also closes out with a 'rage against the machine' -track which unfortunately awards extra points in my own rating.
the shot where agent smith turns into a grandma and chucks a fucking knife at neo *chef's kiss* Now That's Kino
