Sound of Metal 2019
I watched this film with deaf people who were born without hearing. They shared that they rely on visual only when watching films; captions and sound descriptions on the screen are useless for them. They cannot imagine ‘dramatic music’ cause they had never heard one. They said the film was a bit boring for them (must be in their case!)
However, created by hearing people for hearing people Sound Of Metal is a perfect film. It’s a story about acceptance and transformation. It tears me apart more than any horror movie.Translated from by -
