  Some of the Deadpool humor wasn't my favorite. Otherwise, it was enjoyable! My friend who was with me loved it so that was really nice.

  I only knew Beetlejuice: The Musical beforehand so there were some things I expected to be different and that enhanced enjoyment.

  Also, I love the Maitlands so much.

  I just could not stop smiling while watching this! :D

  Everyone in the film was out, there was no homophobia whatsoever, everyone was fully accepted, and it was just wholesome all the way through. Seeing sapphics just treated as normal was so incredibly refreshing! There were a few funny references to Lesbian culture and some rainbow decorations, but it literally just felt like a straight Hallmark movie but with Lesbians (in the best possible way).

  We have a new challenger for the title of my favorite film!

  The only complaint on my end is the lack of diversity. The nature of this film has Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) bouncing from side character to side character in somewhat isolation, which means that he ends up a sole white male protagonist for long stretches of the film. The women in the film don't do much, unfortunately. But large parts of the films is McBride grappling with masculinity…
