Sugar and violence (and a lot of furious jumping). It is most charming.

Bold, imaginative, eccentric and hilarious. Poor Things is a brilliant and beautifully crafted coming of age story that explores female sexuality and independence.

The supporting cast is marvellous, particularly Mark Ruffalo, who is insanely good. Probably my favourite role of his.

The only thing worse than this film being made is knowing the director intends to make a sequel AND that he’s coming for Bambi and Peter Pan too. No beloved childhood story is safe.
