A fun time!! Pretty light hearted movie for the subject matter. Particularly liked the Nasha character and was fairly emotionally invested in Mickey 17. Some might say it was kitschy/cliche but I kind of was in the mood for a sappy Kumbaya movie and this was exactly that. Plus I went to see it with friends; yay!!!

Had to watch this for class and it was amazing!!!!! Plays with perspective and questions how narratives of history are constructed. What is the balance between testimony and evidence. Class discussed how Georges represents the French state and Major the Algerian people (and how the French hid narratives of violence against the colonized). Camera work was stellar, the blending of perspectives from the stalker and the viewer is cool
