  i don’t think i’ve ever seen a movie that ends exactly when it needs to. like the writers knew they had absolutely nothing left to give and ended it with such perfect timing that i was actually left thinking “oh wow that’s it? well actually yea that works”

  there are few people i love more than america ferrera. 

  rewatching this movie made me realize there’s no better time to watch this movie than now, and it’s become a comfort film that i’ll definitely enjoy rewatching for many years to come. there’s something so beautiful about ana’s unwavering spirit and her commitment to staying true to herself while her family tries to push their idea of what her life should like on her.
  there’s few movies out there that i feel i can really relate too and i’m so glad i found this one.
