  this film is rather fine for being his first feature. quite an easy-watch, much literal and straight-forward, i guess not everything has to be as overly tacit and abstract as other works of his.
  it's an introduction to something greater... his other films.
  the kiss scene was lovely, and the real footage shown is also very appreciated.
  i found similar klimov's come and see more impactful.
