The great honor to see this theatrically once again. Big jets go brrr.

When they lift Goose out of the water... Maverick's best friend in the whole wide world, the one who always believed in him, gone. I can't man, and then when he goes to see his wife and young Rooster, well shit I'm crying.

Very funny, the sight gags are relentless, feels very faithful to the looney vibe. Even reaching back to the original incarnations of the characters, we get full 🪛 🏀 Daffy here, he even does his WOOHOOWOOHOO. And the references to Looney Tunes directors, Clampett, Tex Avery, love that kind of homage.

There's a car gag that killed me lolol, and so many more, really great pacing to the jokes.

Didn't love the topical humor, that shit'll be out of date…

I remember how hyped I was to hear Tomboy, one of those songs I've loved since the…

The deep sea man, terrifying, when they jump off the bridge into the inky black abyss the first time, chills.

We spend like half the time with the people topside? Woody is just chilling for most of it, kinda thought he'd be a more active character?

I thought about it a bit and the whole true story part should've tipped me off that everything was going to be alright, no way they make a movie about a guy dying, so…
