Super mid. Long af so put it in the background if you’re bored. Pretty colors though.

Very interesting film. The script was pristine. Ralph fiennes was captivating as per usual.
I would best describe this film as a one-time must watch for slow-burn fans.

Beautifully shot film. Quaint but leaves nothing on the table. Paul giamatti was amazing. This film is probably best for making depressed, lonely people, feel slightly less depressed and lonely during the cold months. It will leave all viewers feeling a bit empty once it’s over, but hopefully in a profound way. Better than nearly all Holiday films made in the last decade. However, it is much more than a holiday movie.

A very pretty and organized picture. The piano-heavy score is easily its most notable highlight in my opinion. It wasn’t ‘til it ended, that I realized Eisenberg wrote and directed it. So good for him I guess.
Kieran culkin was great and he deserves notoriety for his work (never thought I would say that). However, Jessie Eisenberg was equally as soulful and melancholic. I think because he generally portrays the same character in every film, he’s easily overlooked in this one.
Easy watch and on the shortlist of heartwarming, tragicomedy, lets kill 90 minutes type of viewing.
