Hey so that was disturbing. Important philosophical topics brought up but the film doesn’t really take a stance on the machine vs. life debate; I guess it wants us to ask if it is even a “versus” at all? The problem with that perspective for me if that the protagonist, as well as all of the others the other characters, are not compelling at all and so the whole film feels, ironically, soulless. I was left feeling eerie and uneasy.…
