In the Summer of 1986 John Carpenter’s film Big Trouble in Little China was released and immediately met with negative reactions from both critics and fans. Manhunter 1986
Horror is perhaps my all time favorite genre. The experience of a scare exhilarates me more than mostly anything else. Silence of The Lambs is one of my favorite horror films, it’s cool, it’s clever, and it’s really fucking scary. It was for those reasons that I decided to watch Manhunter, the predecessor to that film, which has received a cult classic status recently.
